Direct from the 17 hectares of organic tea fields of Kakegawa City, Shizuoka, Japan, this is Ceremonial Grade Matcha as it was meant to be.
Cultivated by the renowned Matsushita Tea Garden, our matcha is crafted using only the youngest shade-grown leaves, meticulously stone-ground to achieve an unmatched texture and vivid emerald color.
Prepare to taste the smooth, deep-umami flavor with a delightful natural sweetness. Perfectly suited for traditional whisking into a rich, creamy, and wonderfully frothy cup.

Brewing recommendation
Use the ideal water temperature is between 160°F and 175°F (70°C to 80°C). Water that is too hot will scorch the delicate leaves and make the tea taste bitter.
Measure 1 to 2 scoops of matcha into the sifter
Gently push the powder through the sifter into the bowl. Sifting is important to break up any naturally occurring clumps for a perfectly smooth, lump-free cup
Pour about 60-75 ml (2 to 2.5 oz) of the prepared hot water (160°F-175°F) into the bowl over the sifted matcha
Using the whisk, move your wrist rapidly in a fast "W" or "M" motion across the surface of the tea
Whisk for about 20 to 30 seconds until a smooth, thick layer of fine, tiny bubbles that forms on the surface
